The Journey Begins

Welcome to my journey into the rest of my life!

If you read my About Me page you will see that I am tired of not living life to its fullest!  My body is only 53 years old and yet it feels like I'm bumping 80!  I'm around 70+ lbs overweight and even though my sweet friends tell me I look fine... I don't feel so fine.

This journal is my public way of telling my story as I live it...the good, the bad, and the ugly!

I have set aside the next two days to mentally and spiritually prepare myself for the commitment I'm embarking on.  To lay aside the years of pain I have slathered over myself and others.  To thoroughly educate myself on my new lifestyle of eating, physical activity, and spiritual and mental empowerment.  Then on Monday, I will embark fully on this journey, emotionally, spiritually and physically prepared to Embrace and Live Life To Its Fullest!

I hope you will join me on this adventure of a lifetime!  We'll have a blast...if we allow ourselves to!

Selah

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.”  Charles Swindoll
